Goodwin House Bed & Breakfast - Keswick (Cumbria)

The room I stayed in had excellent views of the Fells and Blencathra. The décor gave a cozy vibe. Breakfast worth waking up for, with a spread with local produce and unique options like haggis that hit the spot perfectly.

The en-suite bathroom was rather cramped. I wouldn't want to share that space. Parking can be a hassle, especially on busy weekends, and the shower took a while to heat up, inconvenient when you're in a rush. Checkout's strict timing can throw a wrench in your plans if you're not ready on the dot.

We would definitely book again to have once again an outstanding trip. The place is beautifully designed and ideal and has stunning location in the Lake District for a while. The breakfast is generous with nice options, homemade granola, cakes, there's an option for each taste.

The homemade granola at breakfast was nothing short of divine, and I couldn't get enough of those culinary delights! Chris and Liz were great hosts. Plus, the room was super clean and comfy, a perfect retreat after a day exploring Keswick.

The bed felt a bit oldish, and the shower took a wee while to heat up, but these minor hiccups didn't take away from the overall shine of the experience.

What a disappinting stay! Not only did the shower take an eternity to heat up, but i was also treated like a mere regular instead of the discerning guest i am. An upgrade woudl ve been appreciated after the initial hiccups. Don't even get me started on the checkout drama-so unnecessary. Almost a good review, but just couldn't!

the location is perfect, just a short walk to the lake and town. one night, the water pressure in the shower was low.

Goodwin House is perfect location close to the town centre, great to explore Keswick easily. We loved our cozy Standard Twin Room with a fine mountain view, and the breakfasts were very nice-Liz and Chris made sure we had a delicious start to every day.

Finding parking during busy weekends can be slightly tricky.

Had such a fab stay! The hosts were super friendly, always chatting. Breakfast was the highlight-those packed lunches were handy for my hikes! Only thing, the shower could've been quicker heating up, but defo worth it for the amazing vibe.
